Quattro Flooring completes sports flooring using their preferred sub-floor preparation products from Ultra Floor.  

 

One of the latest contracts completed by experienced flooring contractors, Quattro Flooring, was Lilleshall National Sports Centre. The Lilleshall sports centre offers excellent training facilities to the country’s leading sportsmen and women.

 

Quattro Flooring, a regular user of Ultra Floor products following an initial recommendation, completed over 1000 square metres of sub-floor preparation using Ultra floor DPM IT two coat and Level IT SmoothFlow. 

 

The concrete substrate was tested for moisture and the requirement for waterproofing was identified, so DPM IT two coat was applied to create a waterproof surface membrane. 

 

Ultra Floor DPM IT two coat is a two-part damp proof membrane system - a solvent free, two-part epoxy resin. The product prevents the passage of moisture into subsequent layers.

 

Ultra Floor’s newest self-levelling compound, Level IT SmoothFlow, was then applied by trowel resulting in an exceptionally strong and perfectly level underlayment.

 

Level IT SmoothFlow has a set time of 2 hours and can be laid at depths from 3 to 10mm - covering an optimum 5.5m² at 3mm thickness.

 

Once dry, Gerflor’s Taraflex® Sport Performance Plus synthetic indoor sports floor was laid, the different court line markings added the finishing touch.
